Empowering Rural Youth in Sustainable Agriculture

This project will target young farmers and agricultural enthusiasts in rural areas. It will offer advanced training in sustainable and climate-resilient agricultural practices, including organic farming, precision agriculture techniques, water management, and diversified cropping systems. Beyond cultivation, the project will incorporate modules on post-harvest management, food processing (e.g., value addition to crops, creating packaged products), and direct marketing strategies. Youth will be connected with agricultural experts, provided with access to relevant technologies (e.g., soil testing kits, basic processing machinery), and guided through the process of developing their own agri-businesses, from market research to financial planning. The aim is to transform subsistence farming into profitable, environmentally sound enterprises.
