This project will target women engaged in home-based work (e.g., tailoring, handicraft production, food preparation) who often operate with limited financial knowledge and market access. We will conduct intensive workshops on basic financial literacy, including budgeting, savings, debt management, and understanding micro-credit options. Concurrently, vocational training will be provided in diversified skills that have market demand, such as digital marketing for small businesses, basic e-commerce operations, or advanced craft techniques. The project will also facilitate linkages with local markets and online platforms to help women sell their products directly, increasing their income and reducing reliance on exploitative middlemen.
